I've seen so many owls online this season.

I sat down these past few days, trying to come up with

my own pattern. I am excited how these are turning out. 

After I get all the kinks out I will post the pattern

hopefully in the next few days

Crochet a star ornament pattern

This is a fun and easy pattern to make

You can use scraps of yarn 

Supplies:

1"inch ring

Yarn Bee Fetching Champagne 3.5oz Yarn

(You can find this at Hobby Lobby)

4.25mm hook

1. Sl over the 1 inch ring, Ch1 Sc, 17 more Sc's over the ring

Sl into St Sc = 18 Sc's

2. In St Sc, Ch2 Counts as Hdc, 1more Hdc, Ch2 2Hdc's in same Ch2 Sp, Ch1

Skip next 2 Sc's, 2Hdc's Ch2 2Hdc's in next Sc, Ch1, Rep Sequence 

= 24 Hdc's, 6Ch2 Sp's, 6 Ch1 Sp's

3. In St Ch1 Sp, Ch3 Sl into next Ch2 Sp, Ch3 Sl into same Ch2 Sp, Ch5 Sl into same Ch2 Sp,

Ch3 Sl into same Ch2 Sp, Ch3, Sl into next Ch1 Sp, Ch3 Sl into next Ch2 Sp, Rep Sequence

Sl into St Ch1 Sp = 6 Ch5 Sp's 20 Ch3 Sp's

Fasten Off

Hdc:Half Double Crochet

1. Make a slip knot, Ch3 counts as Dc, 1Dc, Ch2, over the slip knot, 2Dc's Ch2, Rep sequence 

4more times. Sl into Starting Dc = 12Dc's & 6 Ch2 Sp's Fasten Off

Add new color

2. Sl into starting Ch2 Sp, Ch2 Counts as Hdc, Hdc Ch2 Hdc's in same Ch2 Sp, Ch1, 2Hdc's Ch2 2Hc's in the next Ch2 Sp, Ch1, Rep Sequence Sl into Starting Hdc 

= 24 Hdc's, 6 Ch2 Sp's, 6 Ch1 Sp's Fasten Off

Add new color

3. Sl into Starting Ch2 Sp, Ch2 Counts as Hdc, Hdc Ch2 2Hdc's in same Ch2 Sp, Ch1, Hdc Ch1 in next Ch1 Sp, 2Hdc's Ch2 2Hdc's in next Ch2 Sp, Rep Sequence, Sl into Starting Hdc

Add new and final color

Starting Hdc = 36 Dc's,  6 Ch2 Sp's,  18 Ch1 Sp's

5. Sl into Starting Ch2 Sp, Ch3 Sl into same Ch2 Sp, Ch3 Sl into next Ch1 Sp, Ch3 Sl into next Ch1 Sp, Ch3 Sl into next Ch1 Sp, Ch3 Sl into next Ch2 Sp, Ch3 Sl into same Ch2 Sp, Rep Sequence

Sl into Starting Ch2 Sp, Fasten Off

Now to make the tassel 

Cut 1 4 inch strips of each color

Fold the strips in half, Sl the rounded  Fold through the Corner Ch2 Sp, Open the rounded Fold and Slip the dangling half of the strips through the rounded fold. Tighten to form a dangling tassel
