Molding with *Hot Glue*

One of the many things I love about Pinterest!
Is finding fun ideas for crafting.

I stumbled across this new fun way of molding... I am not an expert. I am a mom who loves to craft.

Do you know the best way to find out who is a crafter? Walk in there home and in every room you will find some project/projects they are working on.

Boxes of yarn, fabric, paint. And then there is the boxes with so many different types of supplies that they are not sure what or when they will make something out them.
But they have a plan for everything you find.

You know that moment you walk in your closet and there is nothing to wear, yet tuns of clothing just waiting to be chosen for that lucky day.

Well, its the same for a crafter, we walk through our home of many supplies and still have nothing to work with.
We walk in a store and the excitement hits as soon as we step over that pathway into so many ideas and not knowing what to buy first.
Then we come home and have to find an open space to place our new exciting supplies we just bought.
You can't open the packages fast enough to get started with so many ideas running through your head.

Then of course you have to check out Pinterest again and find another idea you cannot wait to try and see if you can do it yourself.

My new project is molding with Hot Glue. Who knew you could create your own molds out of hot glue. So of course I picked up some hot glue with the only moldings they had on display for this very project.
Sadly they only had 2 different types of molds to choose from. Hmm, I need more different choices to create more, yet they only have the 2.  Whats a girl to do. I came home with my new kit and decided to try and think of another option.
Of course it has to be able to sustain heat and not stick to the mold its self.

I got and Idea!
I went over to the baking section at Walmart and found these Fondant and Gum Paste Molds for cake decorating.
I picked up two molds out of 3 and took them home to get started.

It worked!
Now I can make more then just flowers.
I can make Buttons, Gems so many more options.
Now comes the fun part.
I get to paint and find fun places to glue these new molds too.

I hope you have as much fun as I do making lots exciting crafts.
I just hope you can find some space in your home for these new projects to get started on.
Always Remember
